Outreach

I enjoy teaching and science communication — especially workshops that help people feel confident using tools that scientists actually use (terminal, Python, data workflows). Below are a few things I’ve done so far, and I plan to keep growing this side of my work.

Workshops Mentoring Science demos Community

Highlights

Bash / Shell Workshop
Workshop
A hands-on introduction to the terminal and practical command-line skills (navigation, scripts, and workflows useful for research and computing).
  • Core commands + scripting mindset
  • Reproducible workflows for research
  • Focus on “learn by doing” examples
Python Workshop (High School Students & Teachers)
Workshop
Intro Python sessions designed for beginners, focused on building confidence and curiosity. I aim to make coding feel friendly, practical, and connected to real problems.
  • Basics: variables, loops, functions, plotting
  • Small projects + interactive exercises
  • Supportive environment: “no shame questions”
Director · Demonstration Committee (SPS)
Undergrad
I served as the director of the Demonstration Committee in the Society of Physics Students (SPS), leading physics demonstrations and activities to engage students and the community.
  • Organized demo planning and execution
  • Collaborated with other SPS members for events
  • Helped make physics feel exciting and approachable
