Outreach

I enjoy teaching and science communication — especially workshops that help people feel confident using tools that scientists actually use, such as the terminal, Python, and data workflows. Below are a some of the workshops I have had the chance to teach, and I plan to keep growing this side of my work.

Trainings & Tutorials

Bash / Shell Workshop
PURSUE Internship at Fermilab
A hands-on introduction to the terminal and practical command-line skills, including navigation, scripts, and workflows useful for research computing.
  • Core commands and scripting mindset
  • Reproducible workflows for research
  • Focus on “learn by doing” examples
Python Workshop
IRIS-HEP Coding Camp at Puerto Rico
Introductory Python sessions designed for beginners, focused on building confidence, curiosity, and practical programming skills.
  • Basics: variables, loops, functions, and plotting
  • Small projects and interactive exercises
  • Supportive environment: “no shame questions”
Introduction to ML
IRIS-HEP Coding Camp at Puerto Rico
A beginner-friendly introduction to machine-learning concepts and practical Python tools for undergraduates interested in data science, physics, and ML.
  • Basic ML ideas and vocabulary
  • Examples with Python-based tools
  • Connection to real scientific workflows
