Hi, I’m Iliomar!

I’m a Master’s student in Physics at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, working on High Energy Physics with the CMS Experiment. I like building robust, reproducible workflows and making results easy to trust and explain.

What I do: I work on analysis + ML tooling for High Energy Physics (CMS), focusing on model robustness, clear evaluation, and reproducible code.

Interests: end-to-end approaches (simulation → reconstruction → analysis), trigger efficiency modeling, anomaly detection & monitoring, and ML methods that behave in the real world.

Fun fact: My favorite fruit is pomarrosa. (More personal stuff is in About.)
